This lovely family from Massachusetts came back to Puerto Rico, repeating a vacation 5 years earlier. They wan to remember this time in their lives with a professional family photography portrait session. They called me up and I headed over to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to the beautiful Hyatt Grand Reserve resort. These days, the resorts are almost empty and so it feels like we have the place to ourselves. We had a lot of fun!

Check out some family photos from a recent holiday family portrait session at Ritz-Carlton Reserve Dorado Beach. An annual family photo shoot is a great way to mark the years. It can preserve a beautiful record of your family as they grow. Originally planned for an all beach shoot, a windy day made us switch things up and choose a more protected area. I love these shots with the giant ficus tree in it and provides adds to the great sense of ‘growth’ and family.

Bahia St.Regis Puerto Rico – Beach Engagement Session

Surprise wedding proposals take a lot of planning, and we love to help you create the perfect moment. The secluded and serene beach at Bahia St. Regis in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico is our backdrop. I waited with my beach blanket and cooler, acting like a normal beach-goer. She even gave me a friendly wave as they walked by on what she just thought was her ordinary routine, evening walk. What she didn’t know is that I was flying a drone above them filming the whole thing and had my cooler full of cameras to capture the moment!

Couples Photo Session in Old San Juan

It’s a rare occasion when you and your partner share the same birthday. That’s exactly the case for this salsa-dancing couple from New England on vacation in Puerto Rico. We met up in Old San Juan and I showed them around to some of my favorite spots.

Taking photos in Old San Juan never gets old. It’s a photographer’s playground. While I have some “go-to” shots, I always keep a keen eye for something different and magical to happen. Each photo session is unique and it’s often these unplanned shots that end up being the best.

The beaches near Dorado are great for taking photos. I have no idea if it’s true, but I like to think the town’s name ‘Dorado’, meaning “golden” in Spanish, comes from the warm, glowing light that washes over the coast each evening.

We offer fun and easy, Covid-19 safe, outdoor photo sessions for a $275 with gallery of digital images included. Sessions last around an hour and you can choose the location of your choice or get some suggestions from us.

Sessions are casual and we use a go-with-the-flow style and documentary approach. Kids will we kids… and having nice of photos them in their natural state up being the better photos anyways. Trying to wrangle them and get them to sit still is a hope we have, and not a requirement. It always works out in the end. lol!

Old San Juan Photo Session

Vincente celebrated his 30th birthday on the Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico. We did a quick photoshoot to mark the occasion and make some great travel images in the process.
