This lovely family from New York recently moved to Puerto Rico and wanted to showcase the island in their annual holiday cards. We chose the colorful, cobblestoned streets of Old San Juan as the backdrop for the family photo shoot. These guys really nailed it and we had a ton of fun in the process. Their unique personalities really shine through in the photos and add an extra level of human connection to them. Although we often shoot in the same locations, each session in unique and is a collaboration between the photographer and the subject. We always leave room for spontaneity and creativity, and it’s often these ‘unexpected’ photos that end up being some of the best!
