This lovely family from Massachusetts came back to Puerto Rico, repeating a vacation 5 years earlier. These days, the resorts are almost empty and so it feels like we have the place to ourselves. We had a lot of fun!

Couples Photo Session in Old San Juan

It’s a rare occasion when you and your partner share the same birthday. That’s exactly the case for this salsa-dancing couple from New England on vacation in Puerto Rico. We met up in Old San Juan and I showed them around to some of my favorite spots.

Taking photos in Old San Juan never gets old. It’s a photographer’s playground. While I have some “go-to” shots, I always keep a keen eye for something different and magical to happen. Each photo session is unique and it’s often these unplanned shots that end up being the best.

Vincente celebrated his 30th birthday on the Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico. We did a quick photoshoot to mark the occasion and make some great travel images in the process. We were sure to follow social distancing guidelines and always wore masks, other than when we catulla snapped the photo. Happy Birthday, Vincente!

Nicole and Derek found me through Shoot My Travel and we met up in Old San Juan to take some photos, celebrating their 5 year wedding anniversary. This adventurous couple told me they love to get photo sessions when they travel and that afterwards they hardly take any others the rest of the time. They said it’s nice to not be burdened by getting photos and relying on asking strangers to snap a photo to remember their trip by. It gives them more time to soak in the experience and be present in the moment knowing their experience has been captured beautifully.
