In 2008-2009, I had the pleasure of spending 9 months living in Palermo, Sicily.  My wife was there on a Fulbright Grant and I got a great opportunity during out time there to hone my photography skills and really get some time to learn about the business in general.

Sicily is said to be the most conquered island in the world.  With influences from past conquests of the Greeks, Romans, Saracens, Vikings, Spanish, there are lots of stories to be told here.  It is a land of contrasts and immense beauty that largely remains unspoiled by tourism.

I hope to convey some of that magic through these images.
