I had such a blast shooting this destination beach wedding in The Bahamas. This very international group was a ton of fun getting to know and it truly was a pleasure to document this epic weekend everyone had on Harbour Island. We ran all over the island and completed about 20 hours of shooting at about 10 different locations. This is especially impressive because the whole weekend was captured in a photo-journalistic style. The couple was not interested in any posed shots at all (I did manage to sneak one or two in when they weren’t expecting it). For me this was an awesome challenge artistically liberating. I even stayed up til 3am on Friday to prepare a next day slideshow to be shown during the reception on Saturday evening.

The bride first became acquainted with Eluethera and Harbour Island when she was a student at The Island School as a teenager. She knew it would serve as the perfect location for her beach destination wedding for her and her fiance. On Friday they hosted a welcome dinner and party at Aquapazza restaurant and famous Haunted House. The wedding was held at the Coral Sands Hotel on the pink sand beach, with cocktail hour at the pool along with dinner and reception on the beach deck.
